Casey Reed receives Earley Memorial Scholarship
Casey Elizabeth Reed of
Winston Salem, NC has
been named the recipient
of the first Joshua B.
Earley Memorial
Scholarship. The
announcement was made
August 28th, 2004 at the
North Carolina State
Fireman's Association
Conference in
Greensboro, NC. A
check was presented to
Casey by Kenneth and
Margaret Earley in front
of crowd of over 600
attendees during the
awards banquet at the
conclusion of the
conference. The
crowd responded to the
announcement of the
scholarship with a
standing ovation.
Casey was also presented
an Acrylic Flame trophy
by Jeff Kimble on behalf
of FSET program.
Casey is an entering
freshman in the FSET
program. Casey currently
is a volunteer
firefighter in the
Beasons Volunteer Fire
Department
