Mr. Goff has 28 years of experience in the Commercial Construction and Facility Management Industry directly related to the expansion and maintenance of a “Big Box” retail chain. During 18 years of his career at Lowe’s Home Centers, Inc., Mr. Goff was involved in the design and development of 100K+ sf Retail Stores, 1M+sf Regional Distribution Centers, 500K sf Rail Distribution Centers, Retrofit/Remodel projects and a variety of Corporate Facility Projects (Airport Hangar, Data Center, Corporate Campus). Mr. Goff delivered hundreds of projects across 48 different States, which has provided him with extensive experience on the Project Delivery Process including Project Design, Estimating, Planning, Scheduling, Construction Means and Methods and Construction Administration.

In addition to his Commercial Construction Experience, Mr. Goff has 10 years of Facility Management experience and was responsible for the Preventative, Reactive and Planned Maintenance for more than 700 Operating Retail Locations. This experience gives him a keen insight into the Facility Maintenance Process and Practices in addition to a unique perspective on the total Project Lifecycle (Design to Disposition).

Mr. Goff has completed certifications in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED GA) and Lean Six-Sigma (Yellow Belt).

Prior to joining UNC Charlotte, Mr. Goff was an Adjunct Lecture from 2015 – 2020 at Appalachian State University where he delivered courses in Construction Technology, Project Management and Construction Administration.
